codebase-index-generate scans any stack — not just Optimizely projects — and writes compact markdown index files that replace tens of thousands of tokens of exploratory file reads. It's optional: reach for it whenever you want fast AI context on a codebase, not a required step for anything else in this toolbox.
Re-run it later and it doesn't start over: delta mode diffs against the last index's git commit and regenerates only the index files affected by what changed.
